Title:
Dataset DrivAer hp-F: Surface Pressure Measurements in Yaw Conditions.

Description:
This dataset contains surface pressure measurements along the slant of three configurations of the DrivAer hp-F (Standard, Spoiler, and Rear Wing) under varying yaw angles.
The experiments were conducted in the 8x6 closed-return wind tunnel at Cranfield University.
The dataset provides pressure coefficient measurements at multiple yaw angles and presents data both relative to the atmospheric reference pressure and the local static pressure in the wind tunnel.

Experimental Setup:
- Wind Tunnel: Cranfield University 8x6 closed-return tunnel.
- Test Section: 2.44 m × 1.79 m (modified with elevated floor and boundary layer suction).
- Yaw Angles: -20 deg to 20 deg in 5 deg increments.
- Freestream Velocity: 40 m/s.
- Blockage Ratio: ~6.3% at 0 deg yaw.

Measurement Details:
- Instrumentation:
  - 40 surface pressure taps installed on one half of the slant.
  - Two 20-channel differential pressure transducers referenced to atmospheric pressure.
- Pressure Reference:
  - Atmospheric reference pressure for uncalibrated measurements.
  - Dynamic pressure measurement at the test section inlet.
  - Average local static pressure in the wind tunnel, obtained from measurements in the ``Dataset DrivAer hp-F: Wake Total Pressure Measurements in Yaw Conditions'' dataset.
- Sampling Rate: 5 kHz over 30 s per yaw angle.

Data Processing:
- All measurement results are time-averaged over the acquisition window.
- Pressure measurements are divided by dynamic pressure measurements to compute pressure coefficients relative to the atmospheric pressure (Cp).
- Pressure measurements are calibrated using static pressure data and divided by dynamic pressure measurements to compute pressure coefficients relative to the static pressure in the wind tunnel (Cpc).

Data Structure:
- The data files are structured to span the entire slant width.
- Pressure data from negative yaw angles are mirrored to reconstruct a full pressure distribution across the slant, containing 74 measurement results.
- Overlapping symmetry line measurements are averaged to maintain consistency in transposed data.
- Wind tunnel conditions for each yaw angle represent the average of the combined positive and negative yaw angle measurements.

Data Files:
The dataset is organised into two main folders, each containing subfolders corresponding to the different vehicle configurations (standard, spoiler, rearwing).
Each configuration folder contains individual files for the pressure coefficient measurements at each yaw angle.

1. atmospheric_reference/
   - Contains pressure coefficients (Cp) referenced to atmospheric pressure.

2. tunnel_reference/
   - Contains pressure coefficients (Cpc) referenced to the local static pressure in the wind tunnel.

3. LogDocuments.xlsx
   - Contains additional information on the experimental conditions and pressure tap coordinates.

Note:
The static pressure reference in the wind tunnel was measured during the related experiments of the ``Dataset DrivAer hp-F: Wake Total Pressure Measurements in Yaw Conditions'' dataset.
It was obtained from a pressure tap 400 mm downstream of the vehicle at the wind tunnel wall at mid-height
The measured static pressure at this location averaged 228.34 Pa lower than atmospheric pressure and serves as a consistent reference for calibrating surface pressure data.
