The research is also supported by UKRI-EPSRC under grant reference EP/Y026098/1, under the Building a Green Future theme and the International Science Partnerships Fund as part of the Global Hydrogen Production Technologies (HyPT) Center. Methodological information: Description of methods for data collection or generation and data processing The data of diesel consumption in litre over a year (2022-09-01 to 2023-08-31) of a typical combinable cereal farm in Eastern England is collected from references " John Nix, 2023: The Benchmark for Farming, published by The ANDERSONS CENTRE" and "Brian Witney, 1995: Choosing & Using Farm machines, published by Land technology Ltd", the size of the farm is selected as 123 Hectares, which is the average size of farms in Eastern England. The diesel consumption data is then converted to hydrogen demand (in kg) assuming that fuel-consumed machineries are replaced with hydrogen-consumed vehicles.
