Linking Human and Machine - Towards Consumer - Driven Automated Manufacturing. Cranfield Online Research Data (CORD). Dataset. https://doi.org/10.17862/cranfield.rd.4743118https://dspace.lib.cranfield.ac.uk/handle/1826/22019We established a link between linguistic descriptors describing food preferences and product manufacturing processes. Model-based methodology was employed to translate consumer preferences into product and process specifications. The aim of the research is the large scale personalization of formulated food product manufacture where consumers are also the con-creators of the food products they wish to buy. Fuzzyset modelling was used to capture the preferences and perceptions by different group of people. Then, models were employed to established the links between such product attributes and the actual formulation parameters to make the product.CC BY 4.0'Fuzzy Sets''intervals''make-to-order manufacturing''oscillatory baffled flow reactor''continous manufacturing''NeuralEvolutionary and Fuzzy Computation''Flexible Manufacturing Systems''Food Processing'Linking Human and Machine - Towards Consumer - Driven Automated ManufacturingDataset10.17862/cranfield.rd.4743118
