Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- You cannot zoom to 200% without text spilling off the screen, or forcing the mobile-friendly view to be displayed on your device, regardless of screen size. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.10 (reflow). This will be fixed in a future software upgrade).
- There is inadequate colour contrast for the search box button, the breadcrumb trail and on our default thumbnail images. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.3 (minimum contrast). We plan to fix these issues by August 2024.
- There is a missing form labels which makes it difficult for screen reader users to understand what the purpose of a form is. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content) We plan to fix these in 2024.
- There are buttons which are either empty or have no text, which makes it difficult for screen reader users to understand their function. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content). We plan to fix these by 4th quarter of 2023.
- We have a number of redundant links which can cause repetition for keyboard and screen reader users. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.4.4 (link purpose in context). We plan to fix these by 2nd quarter of 2024.
