On the synthesis of 3-terminal RC networks

Abstract

This report is concerned with the synthesis of 3-terminal RC networks according to three specific network functions.Some necessary conditions for physical realizability are derived from first principles by an algebraic method. The possibility of synthesis is shown to depend on a certain inequality but the weakest conditions required in order to satisfy it are not yet known.
