Abstract

Research data for a field experiment to study the effects of applying either straw or glycerol with anaerobic digestate on soil microbial biomass immobilisation of digestate supplied nitrogen and subsequent influence on sugar beet nitrogen uptake, yield and tuber quality parameters.

Description

This dataset contains raw data on microbial biomass carbon and nitrogen, soil available nitrogen (ammonium-N and total oxides of nitate-nitrite), soil pH, soil bulk density, sugar beet leaf nitrogen, sugar beet yield, sugar beet sugar and amino nitrogen and potassium and sodium content, and sugar beet dry matter content collected over the course of the experiment.
